Day on the Terrace!

Well Ms. Non-Seq, HWel and NoBullshitR (I'm going back to her original name) spent yesterday afternoon at the terrace!!

Had to go to Hawks first, Terrace doesn't serve beer until 3:00!! Ding dongs. Check out the dude who snuck in our pic! Priceless.

AWWW, perfect!!! This must have been after I stopped singing Summertime. (I brought the lyrics and was singing them to whoever would listen...or even for those who did not want to listen! :)

Whoa! What a cool place this Mutinondo  was!  It is is a woodland, wilderness area NORTH EAST of Lusaka about 10 hours by bus. (Sorry about the yelling, that is a little shout out to my friend, you know who you are) (Also,  let me know if the link doesn't work) There were these gorgeous look-out points and mountains....well, large granite hills, but they were steep enough and we climbed up 2 of them. Tiny Visitor

Surprise! What did Talie and Ms. Sequitur find? HA I meant Ms. NON-Sequitur of course.... How exciting, a teeny tiny (or tee-niny as my Grandma B says) little critter. A baby gecko is gracing her presence on my keyboard. Check out this amazing video footage taken immediately upon noticing the gecko/lizard/cold blooded animal: PS: I made it to work today. I continue to do a Christian Cross each time I arrive somewhere. If anyone knows another religious type sayings I can do or say when I am safe, I would appreciate it. In the Park...I think it was the 4th of July. (Think that song by Chicago) Well, it's the 7th today- So how was everyone's 4th? How do you feel about your independence? I was thinking about that-- how come we always say, "Happy 4th!" and not "Happy Independence!" Wouldn't it seriously be an adventure if we were still part of England? Maybe we'd all have British accents and Canada and the US would all be like one big country. Maybe we'd all have health care? And calling my Canadian friends wouldn't be long distance! Yesss! Pets are so much work. Man, I'm babysitting these fish and they are exhausting. I mean, I have to feed them TWICE a day. Come on!
