Cake
I made a cake today for 3 reasons! 1. Yesterday was Lil' Squirrel's 4 month birthday! 2. Today could very well be Heidi's 2 year old birthday! (Mid- April!) 3. AND it's MMD's friend J's actual real birthday today! (Not that he'll probably get a piece since I'm sure he's doing his own thing. But that's okay, I'll eat a piece in his honor!! ) Back to the cake. Here is a still life photo of the cake preparation: MMD recently bought this: Which, since I'm such a baker and all, I should be using, but it scares me. So instead, I decided to buck the system and mix it by hand I decided to be brave and use the mixer for the frosting! I added too much vanilla...but it didn't turn out too bad! I decorated the cake how Grandma Edith used to decorate every cake she made! The End Ms. Non-Sequitur
