Whoo hoo...the cheese/cracker/dessert/wine party was a huge success! The white elephant gift exchange was off the charts! The used candle and the box of stolen office supplies were my favorites! A good time was had by all! KT's birthday pickle stole the show! PsychJ's peanut chocolate bars may have topped my peanut butter balls....they were amazing! Is it silly to post a picture of my butt? I say what the hell, I might as well post it while I'm young, so I don't have to post it when I'm old and saggy! I can't believe I'm totally done with everything! This is AWESOME! Peace! What an awesome weekend! Thanksgiving was a smash with Thanksgiving dinner with the fam. You'll be happy to know that my green bean casserole and apple pie were SMASH HITS as well Cousin Q's turkey which was a great success (even though we cooked it upside down! :) I must also mention that my dad has lost another tooth! There is this huge gap of like 4 missing teeth right in the front! Friday was Sunny D's super birthday party, which is where all these fab pics came from! Check out Sunny D and Betty P (that's the best name I could think of!) getting jiggy wid it in the kitchen! Then we have Melly Sue and NS dancin'--love the belly hangin out Gina! Oh yeah.. FRIDAY! Whoo hooo. Want to hear about some gross things that I've done?? 1) I picked up this hair band (much to The Raj's horror) from the parking lot cement and put it in my pocket. About an hour later... I PUT IT IN MY HAIR. Gross, but I lose hair rubber bands all the time, I felt like it was just like the world giving back to me. 2) I've been picking all the skin off my thumb-- it hurts and sometimes it bleeds. Its so stoopid. Actually it looks okay today because a bunch of new skin grew back. 3) I can't think of any more gross things at the moment, but I do want to draw to your attention that Australians say the word Haich for the letter H. Last night I rediscovered something I haven't drank in a long time! Homade (is that a word? lol home made? homemade?) warm milk with chocolate. I guess it was hot chocolate, but it was more like heated up skim milk with some chocolate syrup added! My grandma used to make it for me I think. It's like a faint memory of warm milk...maybe it was just milk with no chocolate... The POINT is that I was doing my laundry at the same time and it almost boiled over and the stupid chocolate totally stuck to the bottom of the pan even though I was able to stir some of it back into the milk! In other food news, I made an egg scramble this morning with eggs, garlic and olives! It was awesome! I just hope the olives are okay since they are leftovers from the party I had at my house like 2 or 3 weeks ago! lol But olives are like pickled right? So they should be fine. Damn. I have another great breakfast recipe for you today! Ingredients: chips, cheese, coffee Directions: 1. Put the chips on a baking sheet 2. Cover the chips with cheese 3. Bake in the oven for 6 minutes 4. Brew some coffee and put it in a cup with expired milk (just one day past) 5. Damn you paper! No, not the writing kind of paper (though I did finish a 3 pager last night), but the other kind, the abusive kind. I got this horrible paper cut on my index finger and I nearly died because of it. Finally! I got my phone and internet hooked up again! YAY I have a new number, which I'm not going to post...(even though I almost just did!) This is a picture that accurately describes the size of the pimple on my nose this morning :) Seriously. I finally decided to clean up the trash from around my kitchen sink (I dare not start the dishes yet) and I saw a bit of blue in my tupperware container that had previously held beans...(insert jaws music duuuuh duh....duuuuh....duh.....) I open the container and there is SO MUCH MOLD in there I almost died or melted to the floor like the wicked witch of the west! I violently threw the whole container in the garbage and sighed a sigh of relief. It kind of sucks because that was my 2nd to last tupperware container- but there's no way I was cleaning that thing out. Donations? Whoo hoo!! I think I found a couch!! A GREEN one that can be delivered. I'm so excited! Now I can move the brown couch to the other side of the room and save it for guests :) Hee Hee. Earlier this evening I may have eaten the most perfect meal ever created. An egg and cheese burrito with garlic salt. I haven't had one since China. It was awesome. Basically I only eat 4 foods as you can probably tell from my writings, okay 5. Tortillas, eggs, cheese, beans, and yogurt. That's about it. And water I guess. And garlic salt :) Fine...6 I haven't done the dishes since the last time, does anyone remember when that was? I'm definately running out out of big plates, but there's a few bowls and small plates left, so I'm good for a few more days. So I took my 1-2 page paper on Radiohead's "Creep" to the Writing Center this evening. She made my paper 100% better. But since it probably started at like 25%, I'm only up to 50% now. In today's cooking news, I bought a salmon steak and cooked it in the George Foreman! I seasoned it with salt and voila-so easy! Cooked fish, just like that! Who knew??? I also ate some stale peanuts. The dirty dishes in the sink are getting bad, but I KNOW I can make my challenge of not washing them until Saturday! Thus going 12 days without doing dishes. Awesome! Yesterday, after a day of meetings and thinking, I decided to meet my Uncle J at the terrace for "a beer." There is a little story which involves U J telling me to buy a 22 oz. glass of beer--which I don't feel like explaining, let's just say it ened in warm beer which made us both unhappy and...okay fine...I'll tell it quick. J says, "Gina, get us a 22 oz. beer" I say, "Okay" I come back with a pitcher, because I think I'm being helpful and thus "over-ruling" my dear uncle. But I find out there is method to his madness- The reason you have to buy the 22

So I'm not using teflon because....well I'm not sure why- but apparently it will give you diseases. So when I made my eggs this morning in a metal pan of some sort and they completely stuck to the it, I was so mad at pans and teflon. I guess if I use more butter, perhaps this little problem might solve itself? At least I have garlic salt which is the best seasoning for EVERYTHING. I put it on eggs, tomatoes, avacados, bread, meat (that's not pre-seasoned) cucumbers, salad, etc. I don't put it in my yogurt though. Regarding moldy drawers, we had to move a desk and dresser for cousin R yesterday. They had been sitting in this basement and were covered in MOLD. Gross. We couldn't decide how to remove the mold. I said just spray it with some household cleaner and then air it out-- seems reasonable. Unless the mold has developed some kind of immunity to cleaners and air. So, in preparation for the party at my uncle's house on Sat. I have to carefully plan out my taco dip strategy. Since I'm trying to be calorie concious I've decided to switch up my normal recipe-- I'm going to use yogurt instead of sour cream. Now, I have no idea if it really has less calories, but somehow...I just think it will be better. I was considering using yogurt instead of the cream cheese, but that would just be too runny. Actualy Cousin Q told me it would be too runny. Hmmm.... This is how I make my taco dip cream cheese + sour cream (this time with yogurt substitute) add taco seasoning and mash together and paste on plate layer on lettuce, tomatoes, cheese and black olives and voila.
