Brat for Breakfast

As you know, I don't like to waste food! So on Friday, I ate this brat for breakfast to save the eggs for later!!

Tonight for dinner I made this:

Now you might say....lasagna in a box?!! And to that I reply, it's easy, quick, tastes good, costs like $8.99 (Maybe, I don't know, Mike bought it and had it in the freezer) and provided 3 lunch for us to enjoy tomorrow and even the next day!!

Missions this week:
1. To go for a hike
2. To eat a salad
3. To use my new lingonberry chapstick
4. Drink more green tea and maybe a little less coffee
5. To fight off the cupcake pushers who try to lure me into their lair of tasty treats

Okay, short and sweet! BYE

Slice the brat cross wise (on an angle if you want to be sophisticated). Then arrange the great little coins of goodness in a sizzling pan, (use cooking spray). Pour a little milk in a small bowl crack an egg from a locally free range chicken into the milk then whisk with a fork. When the mixture is a uniform color pour over the brat coins and turn down the skillet to simmer. Wash the dishes and utensils you have used so far and pour a second cup of insert your choice year. Slide the completed omelet onto a small plate. Please don't use a paper plate. Not the first thing in the morning. Eat this wonder of support from our animals and remember your local farmers. Put the plate fork and cup into the sink and rinse or wash as time allows. As you walk across your lawn toward work scatter pieces of the bun on the ground for the birds or other critters. You will feel good about yourself all day.
Nice Gerry!! :) Excellent advice!
