Warm Milk and Olives

Last night I rediscovered something I haven't drank in a long time! Homade (is that a word? lol home made? homemade?) warm milk with chocolate. I guess it was hot chocolate, but it was more like heated up skim milk with some chocolate syrup added! My grandma used to make it for me I think. It's like a faint memory of warm milk...maybe it was just milk with no chocolate... The POINT is that I was doing my laundry at the same time and it almost boiled over and the stupid chocolate totally stuck to the bottom of the pan even though I was able to stir some of it back into the milk!

In other food news, I made an egg scramble this morning with eggs, garlic and olives! It was awesome! I just hope the olives are okay since they are leftovers from the party I had at my house like 2 or 3 weeks ago! lol But olives are like pickled right? So they should be fine.

Damn. There is something else I was going to tell everyone...but I can't bloody remember. Here are some other bits of news though...
Wish KT luck on her stat's test today, she's gonna kick ass.
It's Hwel's 5 year wedding anniversary on Friday....whooo hooo! Congrats H! AND
Enjoy some sunshine today, who knows how long it will last!

In the Park...I think it was the 4th of July. (Think that song by Chicago) Well, it's the 7th today- So how was everyone's 4th? How do you feel about your independence? I was thinking about that-- how come we always say, "Happy 4th!" and not "Happy Independence!" Wouldn't it seriously be an adventure if we were still part of England? Maybe we'd all have British accents and Canada and the US would all be like one big country. Maybe we'd all have health care? And calling my Canadian friends wouldn't be long distance! Yesss! Pets are so much work. Man, I'm babysitting these fish and they are exhausting. I mean, I have to feed them TWICE a day. Come on! Mutinondo

Whoa! What a cool place this Mutinondo  was!  It is is a woodland, wilderness area NORTH EAST of Lusaka about 10 hours by bus. (Sorry about the yelling, that is a little shout out to my friend, you know who you are) (Also,  let me know if the link doesn't work) There were these gorgeous look-out points and mountains....well, large granite hills, but they were steep enough and we climbed up 2 of them. It took about 30 minutes to get to the top of each.  In the top video I'm reaching the top of the mountain!  You can hear our cool driver Mr. K cheering? :) me on!  These photos are in no order exactly, but I'll talk a little about each one!
