Sunny D's party

What an awesome weekend! Thanksgiving was a smash with Thanksgiving dinner with the fam. You'll be happy to know that my green bean casserole and apple pie were SMASH HITS as well Cousin Q's turkey which was a great success (even though we cooked it upside down! :) I must also mention that my dad has lost another tooth! There is this huge gap of like 4 missing teeth right in the front!

Friday was Sunny D's super birthday party, which is where all these fab pics came from! Check out Sunny D and Betty P (that's the best name I could think of!) getting jiggy wid it in the kitchen! Then we have Melly Sue and NS dancin'--love the belly hangin out Gina! And last we have Sun, NS, and PsyJ. AWWW Okay I'm almost late! Talk to you again soon! NS

Surprise! What did Talie and Ms. Sequitur find? HA I meant Ms. NON-Sequitur of course.... How exciting, a teeny tiny (or tee-niny as my Grandma B says) little critter. In the Park...I think it was the 4th of July. (Think that song by Chicago) Well, it's the 7th today- So how was everyone's 4th? How do you feel about your independence? I was thinking about that-- how come we always say, "Happy 4th!" and not "Happy Independence!" Wouldn't it seriously be an adventure if we were still part of England? Maybe we'd all have British accents and Canada and the US would all be like one big country. Maybe we'd all have health care? And calling my Canadian friends wouldn't be long distance! Yesss! Pets are so much work. Man, I'm babysitting these fish and they are exhausting. I mean, I have to feed them TWICE a day. Come on! Hee Hee. :) I suppose that's why I murdered my fish in college...I mean I didn't murder him/her I just forgot to feed him/her for like a week or so and then he/she died. Do fish REALLY have a gender? Mutinondo

Whoa! What a cool place this Mutinondo  was!  It is is a woodland, wilderness area NORTH EAST of Lusaka about 10 hours by bus. (Sorry about the yelling, that is a little shout out to my friend, you know who you are) (Also,  let me know if the link doesn't work) There were these gorgeous look-out points and mountains....well, large granite hills, but they were steep enough and we climbed up 2 of them. It took about 30 minutes to get to the top of each.  In the top video I'm reaching the top of the mountain!  You can hear our cool driver Mr. K cheering? :) me on!  These photos are in no order exactly, but I'll talk a little about each one!
