AB

WHOOO HOO I was so excited yesterday when I got my Radiohead paper back....I got an AB!! Is it an A-? Is it a B+? No one knows because it's an AB! Yippeee. Maybe I can make graduate school after all! I'm going to be reading today for about 6.5 hours, but at least the sun is shining! I decided to wear my birkinstock sandles, even though its bloddy freezing outside. I just can't bear the thought of wearing socks.

In domestic news, I had to call SBC/ATT whatever the crap they are because it has been a week and they still haven't made the switch from Charter. I'm starting to think phone/internet companies are de debil and deep down I want to tell them they are all whores, like Ann Arbor. Sorry Ann Arbor, apparently last year my cousins and other UW students had these shirts that said, "Ann Arbor is a Whore!" I just thought that was crazy funny.

I might be meeting Templar and No-Bullshit B for coffee tonight, oh I hope so! Tomorrow, Sun rise D and I are going to Italy for dinner. I am curious about where I am getting the money for these meal-time advetures since I don't have a job yet...but something is bound to turn up on a sunny day like today! Maybe some money will fall out of a tree on my way to school???

  I'm BAAAACK. Let's get right into it! To make a dumb story long- to make a long story dumb? A few weeks ago I saw this cookie magazine at Woodmans and I was like I. Want. that. Then I saw it cost $12.99. No.  I also know cookie recipes are onLINE, but boring. There's just something fun about looking at beautiful cookie pictures! Canoeing down the Lower Zambezi

The group, ours and locals going on to the car ferry.  Entrance to the park Dang, what are these birds, I think they are Camden, or Carmen Bug Eaters? or something. Very pretty. The first African elephant I saw! Much Larger than Asian Elephants Who is that lurking in the water??  Some Hippos! Gorgeous stork (I think?) Another elephant. I wonder if he is older, as shown by his color variation? Me reading the book that the new parents (M and R) gave me! Also, notice the 3 beverages. The one in the glass is called a Malawi Shandy and is great. I think it's ginger ale, bitters and...maybe just that. A Rock Shandy is with lemonade instead of ale.   The evening cruise, didn't see nearly as much wildlife, but this guy was yawning.  Zambian Sunset! A baobab tree. Very cool. Mutinondo

Whoa! What a cool place this Mutinondo  was!  It is is a woodland, wilderness area NORTH EAST of Lusaka about 10 hours by bus. (Sorry about the yelling, that is a little shout out to my friend, you know who you are) (Also,  let me know if the link doesn't work) There were these gorgeous look-out points and mountains....well, large granite hills, but they were steep enough and we climbed up 2 of them. It took about 30 minutes to get to the top of each.  In the top video I'm reaching the top of the mountain!  You can hear our cool driver Mr. K cheering? :) me on!  These photos are in no order exactly, but I'll talk a little about each one!
